Rainer M. Osinger a short biography:

Illustrator, graphic designer, children book author, caricaturist and painter. Born 07.01.1970 in Villach. Residence: 9300 St.Veit, Austria.;

Since childhood I have been occupied with illustration and painting, as my father was a freelance artist. In my early youth I struggled with naturalism, realism and portraiture. I studied graphic design and media illustration at the New Design Centre (NDC), (New Design University in St. Poelten), specialising in illustration, graphics and painting. For many years I have worked as a freelance artist, offering poster design, book and media illustration, graphic design, cartoons and educational seminars. As a painter, I have specialised in typographic art. In the "typograprint" technique, which I have developed myself, I constantly expand my own "Typo-art". An intensive confrontation with many different techniques defines my work as an illustrator and artist.

Projects and publications at home and abroad: posters, logos, corporate designs, caricatures and cartoons, various media illustrations, portraits, painting in all techniques, in particular: "Typo-art", metal sculptures, numerous exhibitions, training, teaching and instruction activities. Prizes: International poster competition - San Et Orso Italy, Daniel Varga Prize Austria, Istd - price UK. Member of the Austrian Designers Association "design austria". Member of the Society of Typographic Designers. Member of the Association of Educating Artists of Austria.
